Over the past 25 years, the digital printing industry has developed well beyond the traditional decoration of tags, labels and billboards. Today, nearly every industry where products are decorated or printed is exploring new ways to utilize digital printing. As this technology has evolved into different markets, Penn Color has been there every step of the way providing unique and creative coloring solutions to help our customers stay ahead of the curve.

As a long time dispersion and ink supplier to many of these markets, Penn Color understands the specific color and performance requirements necessary in each specific end application. This knowledge, combined with our 25+ years of experience in digital printing and 50+ years in pigment dispersions, makes us the ideal development partner as our customers expand into digital printing.

Our new, highly loaded pigment dispersions are designed to give the digital ink producer broad formulation latitude, while maintaining low viscosities, sub-micron particles and a very narrow particle size distribution. This line of products offers tremendous stability and maximum flexibility for use in a variety of wide, super wide and grand format digital printing applications.

A full palette of colors is available for meeting most color gamut requirements. We can provide both CMYK packages, and customized colors, and work with both high performance pigments where outdoor durability is required and lower cost pigment systems where light fastness is not a requirement.

In addition to the many options available utilizing our technology, Penn Color also provides dispersions in customer specified formulations and has the capacity and capabilities to produce our customers’ finished ink system.
