Driven by aesthetics, functionalities, and safety factors, a modern console is a complex ecosystem of parts made from dozens of different materials and manufacturing processes. For a great driver experience, designers strive to bring color harmony that overcomes those differences.

We offer fully color-matched or single pigment dispersions for TPO, PVC, and PU. SPDs are provided with a full color-matching database. All solutions are specifically formulated for calendared, extruded, or cast products, delivering superior ability to manage metamerism, extremely tight color tolerances (ΔE<0.2), as well as maximum structural resistance, and dimensional stability, with chemical resistance and minimum fogging.

Carpets are a key contributor to interior styling. Great interiors manage to create color harmony between carpets and the other surfaces, despite the unique materials and textures used in carpets. Technical requirements are also specifically stringent, to withstand harsh wear, tear, and soiling.

Color harmony with the other parts of the car interior is an essential requirement for the color-matching of fiber. Since they are parts that we also color, we know the formulations that go into those other parts (dashboard, trims & panels), and can formulate faster, and run faster validation trials and sampling on our semi-industrial spinning line. Solutions are typically single pigment dispersions for Nylon, and PE, but can also be fully color matched. SPDs are provided with a full color-matching database.

Trims and upholstery use unique materials and manufacturing processes to deliver the “soft-to-the-touch” feel, the “hand” and overall comfort for the driver. While no other surfaces use such materials and processes, great interior design requires perfect color harmony between all these surfaces. Stitching is the small detail that makes a huge difference in the aesthetics of upholstery.

We formulate our color solutions for synthetic leather using several different carrier systems in our portfolio, typically for PVC and TPO. Each carrier system gives a very distinctive hand and influences the matte effect while maintaining tight tolerances (ΔE<0.2) and being chemical resistant. Specific formulations are available for stitching, helping to manage color harmony and metamerism between the different materials. For great flexibility in the manufacturing process, all our solutions are available in pellets, powder, or paste.

In great automotive interiors, color harmony helps create a seamless visual continuity between the side panels and the dashboard. Color solutions also contribute to panels retaining the dimensional integrity of their complex shapes, while resisting to scratches, impact, and soiling.

For side panels, our formulations are specifically designed to achieve tight color tolerances, most typically in PP systems. Our precise knowledge of the colors that go into the dashboard, helps us create perfect color harmony and manage metamerism between the panels and the dashboard. In addition, we formulate to tune the level of gloss and deliver superior weatherability while understanding very precisely the impact of our color concentrates on dimensional stability.
