Penn Color has several product lines suitable for various water-based ink and coating applications.
Traditional styrenated acrylic dispersions are available for use in a variety of anionic coating and ink applications (packaging, decoration, and labeling). Our resin-free, non-ionic dispersion pastes can be found in many ink applications including flooring, wall-covering, and packaging. In addition, Penn Color offers a similar product line for use in direct and indirect food contact labeling applications.
Utilizing both anionic and non-ionic ingredients, Penn Color has developed sub-micron and nano-sized aqueous pigment dispersions for use in digital printing applications. These products are being used in inks for paper, packaging and textile graphics.
As the Automotive Coating market is moving toward more eco-friendly products, so are we. Our High Chroma-Tinter product line utilizes high-performance pigments prepared in a system designed to achieve ultimate transparency for OEM and refinish systems.
Striving to meet the needs of a variety of industries, Penn Color is also engaged in aqueous polymer development for numerous coating and ink applications. A recently commercialized cationic polymer solution is currently being tested in finished digital inks as well as specialty coatings applications.
As new water-based pigment dispersion opportunities develop, Penn Color’s dedicated aqueous technical team has the experience and knowledge to help you successfully meet any and all challenges that may arise.
