Acrylics

The coloration of acrylic polymers and dispersions for acrylic monomers is a core technical strength of Penn Color Inc. The family of acrylics includes a range of commercial polymers based on acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, esters of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, acrylonitrile, acrylamide and copolymers of these compounds.

The applications range from acrylic fibers to acrylonitrile copolymers such as NBR, SAN, ASA and ABS.

Many of the applications for the coloration of PMMA include sheet for acrylic signage, automobile & commercial lighting lenses, film and sheet. All of these applications require extensive knowledge of pigments, dyes, and white diffusers to obtain superior optical and physical performance characteristics.
