Penn Color has been making color concentrates for the plastics industry since 1964, making us one of the original dispersion producers in North America. Initially working with PVC only, we now produce color concentrates for every thermoplastic polymer, for every possible end market.

While we have a heavy presence in certain markets like calendared film, packaging, building products, and synthetic fibers, our experience is not limited to those markets. A substantial piece of our colorant sales go into other plastics markets such as house wares, lawn & garden, appliances, toys, material handling, and many others.

To support our diversity, we now actively draw from more then 1000 different pigments, dyes, additives, and resins. We operate three different plastics plants, each with its own experienced R&D and QC staffs. Formulations are shared between the plants to ensure proper correlation from plant to plant, and each facility is certified ISO9001:2000.

In addition to all the typical color matching equipment, we also have various pieces of application equipment, such as a blow molder, a conical twin sheet extruder, and fiber spinning equipment to show exactly how our color will look in a finished article.
