While Penn Color has the ability to produce color concentrates for nearly any type of film, it’s the specialty film area where our fine dispersion capability puts us ahead of the field.

Due to our extreme product diversity, we operate nearly every type of dispersion equipment imaginable. That diversity has enabled us to develop proprietary dispersion processes that grind the pigment particles to their primary particle size. It’s only this type of dispersion quality that can allow film manufacturers to produce defect free film at thicknesses from 5 mils, to less then 1 mil.

This technology can be employed in any of the typical film polymers like polyolefins, nylon, polyester, PVC, and any number of engineering resins.
