Penn Color is one of a very few color houses that are capable of color matching in every known packaging resin, including:

• Styrenics such as ABS, SAN, GPS, and HIPS
• HDPE, LDPE, PP, and all other polyolefins
• PET concentrates using our PENNACLE technology
• Engineering & specialty resins including Nylon, Acrylic, Barex, K-Resin, and many others
• Not to mention our 40+ years of experience in PVC concentrates

Matching the same color in different resins can present a challenge, but our talented color matching staff has all the tools and experience necessary to ensure the closest visual & least metameric color matches possible. Color chips are molded in variable thickness molds that can be dialed into your exact part thickness, which is especially important when matching translucent or transparent colors. We can also provide blown bottles for any olefin color match.

We work closely with both the molder, as well as the end customer whenever possible to ensure that all details of a specific program addressed, and the end customer gets the desired effect that they are looking for.

With 5 full time color matchers, and 4 lab extruders dedicated to making samples, we have the flexibility to meet any requested deadline. Whether it’s transparent or opaque, a solid color or pearlescent, metallic, granite or marbleized special effect, a single resin match or a 6 resin set of matching colors, we would value the opportunity to prove ourselves.
