Vendors sign a document agreeing to our standing requirements.
Vendors are continually monitored versus these requirements.
Corrective action is required when infractions occur.
All incoming raw materials receive a bar code label for internal tracking and control.
All raw materials are approved for use by Quality Control prior to use. Many are actually tested in their intended application.

All process control and product testing equipment is calibrated on a regular basis by a third party.
A preventive maintenance schedule is in place for every critical piece of equipment.
An extensive process control program is in place to ensure that you get what you want when you want it.
Every department can view the customer's requirements prior to performing work for them.

In addition to our regular third party ISO 9001 audits, internal quality audits are performed on an ongoing basis throughout all of our facilities.
A corrective action cycle is employed at any point in our operation where nonconformance or inefficiency is detected.

Every batch produced at Penn Color is closely monitored. Samples are taken at key points in the process and further processing cannot continue without Quality Control approval.
No product leaves a Penn Color facility without first undergoing a battery of tests to determine that the material meets or exceeds the specifications established for that product.
After approval versus specifications, each batch is further processed to ensure uniformity throughout.

Every batch produced by Penn Color is given a unique lot number for both backward and forward traceability.
Prior to leaving our docks, each shipment is double-checked for conformance to the customer's standing and special requirements.
